The gardens are an urban necessity for all people without a big yard or spaces for growing - it shows what real food looks like from seed to plate - a beautiful and instructive way to learn gardening. They also have a venue available for events as Fran Hong for governor.

What a fantastic communal space this place truly was. Had the honor or utilizing this space for an open air market and it was truly beautiful. Glad Milwaukee has spaces like this for folks. It truly was so beautiful to be there. Venus has truly cultivated a wonderful space for the community and I canβt express that enough.

We attended the local artisan night and it was wonderful. There was also a yoga class in session and we found out that it's held every Tuesday and it's free!!! Definitely coming back next Tuesday to partake in the class. Everyone is also so friendly.

I am one of the lucky people who can say that they've experienced Alice's Garden Urban Farm since the very beginning - day one! As a kid, I spent my summers working on this land, getting to know the neighborhood residents, engaging with the community and those who rented plots. I helped mulch the pathways, clear the weeds, till the ground, and bring the plots to life each season. Alice's isn't only a Garden. They recognize what it means to cultivate, prepare and preserve food. They care about the history of the land and educating those who enter the gates. You'll learn about the traditions of today's gardeners and also the ancestors who helped bring us to where we are today. Throughout the year, you'll experience markets that feature local creators and growers, festivals, concerts, yoga, movies, music and so much more.
